Why CHAE?
We offer free and easily accessible remote tutoring for a wide variety of subjects:
Math
We offer support for all levels of mathematics ranging from middle school to high school levels. Our tutors have excelled through middle and high school levels and are eager to offer their support to any students needing additional instruction.
ELA
We can assist students with their reading and writing skills, catering to both middle school and highschool levels.
Science
We have tutors proficient in the middle school science cirriculum. We also can offer support at any highschool science level (Standard, Honors, or AP) in course areas such as biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics.
Standardized Testing
We pair students with tutors who have acheived top marks on standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT. Our tutors will offer various insights for each section of the tests and help students prepare using our strategies for success.
Our Mission
The achievement gap in Chapel Hill has become a concern to many members of our community. According to a 2018 Stanford Survey, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools has one of the highest achievement gaps in the nation.
